The task of the advisory board is to mediate conflicts within the faculty. A central mediation committee must be set up for inter-faculty conflicts. The Mediation Advisory Board must examine complaints from individuals or interest groups and develop proposals for solutions. Appeals to the Mediation Board are possible irrespective of the competence of other statutory bodies of the University (Works Council, Equal Opportunities Working Group, Arbitration Commission, etc.). Applications/complaints to the Mediation Advisory Board can be submitted via the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Natural Sciences.
